Laundry Ironer

About the role

We are looking for a Laundry Ironer to join our housekeeping team at our hotel in Aqaba. The role involves operating laundry equipment, handling stained items, and ensuring clean linens are ready for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Operate washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machines, add chemicals and clean lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, rewash, spot‑treatment or discard.
• Inspect cleaned articles and place them in linen carts.
• Set dryer times and temperatures according to fabric types.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, filters and drain traps after each load.
• Fold cleaned items by hand or using a folding machine to designated sizes.
• Maintain accurate records of laundered items.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, report incidents and complete required training.

Required profile

• No specific education requirement; high school diploma or equivalent not required.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
