Maintenance Technician – Guest Repair & Facility Services

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will respond to guest repair requests and ensure the smooth operation of all building systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and keep the facility safe and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, lubricate, and clean equipment; identify and operate shut‑off valves.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift hand‑over.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical components, HVAC filters, lighting, TVs, and other guestroom items.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic, carpentry, and kitchen equipment systems.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb safely.
• Professional appearance, good communication skills, and a team‑oriented attitude.
