Manager, Governance

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Manager, Governance to lead the development and implementation of group policies, internal control frameworks and audit activities across its operations in Jordan. The role reports to senior leadership and supports the company’s strategy of delivering high-quality medicines while ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in formulating and implementing long-term departmental plans aligned with Hikma’s corporate strategy.
• Lead the creation, update and communication of Hikma Group policies, processes and procedures.
• Draft, challenge and maintain the internal control framework (ICFW) and annual assurance plan.
• Research industry trends and regulatory changes to adjust internal control scope.
• Supervise audit engagements, ensuring efficiency and compliance with established policies.
• Coordinate with other functions to mitigate material risks and integrate control frameworks.
• Identify risk areas, design mitigating controls and keep the group policy up-to-date.
• Maintain team documentation platforms and lead audit engagements as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field.
• Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in internal controls, risk assessment and audit management.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting risk and control frameworks.
