Market & Business Intelligence Lead

About the role

Jo Academy is seeking a Market & Business Intelligence Lead to head two complementary functions within its Strategy & Innovation Department. The role will provide both external market insights and internal performance analytics to support the CEO Office and senior leadership in strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, govern and align the Market Intelligence and Business Intelligence functions with the company’s strategy.
• Define priorities, methodologies, data sources, tools, standards and annual work plans for both functions.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, regulatory changes, technology shifts and macro‑economic indicators; translate findings into risks and opportunities.
• Track competitor strategies, offerings, pricing, partnerships, investments and performance; maintain up‑to‑date competitive profiles.
• Lead primary and secondary research, produce forecasts, KPI frameworks, dashboards and management reports.
• Provide timely insights, recommendations and evidence‑based guidance to the CEO Office and senior leadership.
• Manage and mentor a Market Intelligence Analyst and a Business Intelligence Analyst, ensuring analytical quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading market and business intelligence or analytics functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Experience working with senior leadership and influencing strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and project‑management skills.
• Familiarity with the EdTech sector is a plus.
