Mid-Level Network Engineer

About the role

The Mid-Level Network Engineer will join Estarta’s IT Department in Amman to design, implement, and maintain the company’s enterprise network. You will work with LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN and cloud‑managed solutions to ensure reliable connectivity for all users and sites.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot Cisco switches, routers and wireless infrastructure.
• Administer Cisco Meraki solutions (MX security appliances, MS switches, MR access points) via the Meraki Dashboard.
• Monitor network health, bandwidth utilization and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Diagnose and resolve outages, latency, packet loss and routing issues.
• Maintain VPN connectivity for remote users and branch offices.
• Support firewall policies, VLAN design, STP, EtherChannel, DHCP, DNS, NAT and ACL configuration.
• Participate in network expansions, upgrades, migrations and redundancy projects.
• Document network topology, configurations and perform regular health checks.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience with enterprise networking, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and with cross‑functional IT teams.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements.
