Multi Property Assistant Director of Housekeeping

About the role

The Multi Property Assistant Director of Housekeeping will support the daily shift operations across Al Manara Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba, and The Westin Saraya Aqaba Resort & Spa. This full‑time, onsite role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces are clean, well‑maintained, and meet brand standards while contributing to budgetary goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry shifts across multiple properties.
• Coordinate room status communication with the Front Desk and collaborate with Engineering for maintenance needs.
• Manage cleaning schedules, assign work based on room turnover lists, and conduct inspections of guestrooms and public spaces.
• Maintain inventory levels, order guestroom supplies, cleaning products, and uniforms.
• Monitor departmental expenses, support budgeting processes, and help achieve cost targets.
• Address guest complaints, promote exceptional service, and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in HR activities such as staffing, accident investigations, and performance expectations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of housekeeping or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage inventory, and understand basic budgeting concepts.
