Multi Property AV Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Multi Property AV Technician to set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio‑visual, projection, lighting and conferencing equipment across our banquet and meeting rooms. The role supports guests and staff, ensuring all AV systems are functional and meet event specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV, projection, lighting, and conferencing equipment.
• Oversee AV equipment setup in banquet and meeting rooms and verify against Banquet Event Orders.
• Label, repair, clean, and secure equipment; manage loose wiring and cable dressing.
• Assist guests with equipment usage, up‑sell AV services, and monitor operation during events.
• Break down and store equipment after use, following Marriott Visual Productions SOP.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related AV experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 lb.
• No supervisory experience required.
