National Consultant / Project Coordinator (Jordan)

About the role

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is seeking a National Consultant to act as Project Coordinator for its SME trade‑support programme in Jordan. The consultant will manage the full cycle of activities from August 2026 to March 2027, ensuring timely delivery of monthly outputs and alignment with ITC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Circulate and manage the call for SME applications, oversee selection and onboarding of beneficiaries.
• Coordinate with ministries, trade bodies and other key institutions to secure buy‑in and facilitate policy dialogue.
• Organise and deliver orientation workshops, training‑of‑trainers sessions and coaching activities for selected SMEs.
• Prepare and present monthly progress updates and quarterly/annual reports using ITC templates.
• Track project milestones, monitor SME competitiveness initiatives and support market‑linkage activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination or consultancy within international trade, SME development or similar sectors.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills and ability to work with government agencies and private sector partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines and deliver high‑quality documentation.
