About the role

SRD Center is seeking a qualified National Evaluation Expert based in Jordan to join a multidisciplinary team conducting the final evaluation of a multi‑year education sector system‑strengthening programme. The role will leverage deep knowledge of the Jordanian education system, policies and stakeholders to support evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

Lead the inception, data collection, analysis, validation and reporting phases of the evaluation.
Assess education policy, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and financing mechanisms.
Review education statistics, data systems and institutional capacity development initiatives.
Provide insights on gender equality, inclusion, digital transformation and crisis‑sensitive education planning.

Required profile

Extensive experience in Jordan’s education sector and familiarity with national policies and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and research skills applied to education monitoring and evaluation.
Fluency in Arabic and a good command of English.
