Ophthalmologist – Eye Doctor

About the role

Top Vision Eye Center is looking for a qualified Ophthalmologist to join its medical team in Abdoun, Amman. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive eye care, collaborate with the clinical team, and help ensure a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations, diagnose and manage ophthalmic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow‑up care.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations such as OCT, visual fields, and corneal imaging.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures within professional qualifications and clinical privileges.
• Explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high patient‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialist training in Ophthalmology.
• Jordanian Board in Ophthalmology or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Valid professional license to practice in Jordan, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Patient‑centered approach and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OCT imaging.
• Experience interpreting visual field tests.
• Knowledge of corneal imaging techniques.
• Ability to perform ophthalmic surgical procedures within scope.
