About the role
Amentum seeks experienced Persian‑Farsi linguists to provide language support for U.S. military operations in Jordan. The role involves translation, interpretation, and cultural analysis for senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences for military operations.
- Transcribe, analyze, and translate verbal communications and foreign language documents.
- Provide cultural perspective on regional historical, political, sociological, and economic trends.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance.
- Ability to deploy within two weeks and work 24/7 shift schedules.
- Current passport valid for at least two years and willingness to complete ESP, CI, and language tests within 10 days.
Required skills
- Persian‑Farsi (target language) proficiency at ILR level 2.
- Excellent English verbal and written skills.
