Procurement & Logistics Officer

About the role

The Procurement & Logistics Officer will support Siren Associates' Procurement Department at headquarters, coordinating procurement and logistics activities for the organisation's programmes in Jordan. The role involves planning, sourcing, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in line with organisational policies and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify procurement needs in collaboration with programme, operations and finance teams.
• Prepare and issue requests for quotations, solicit offers and compile procurement documentation.
• Source suitable suppliers and service providers, obtain quotations and supporting documents.
• Follow up on purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules and verify compliance with specifications and contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and ensure adherence to Siren’s policies and donor guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement and logistics within an international or development context.
• Familiarity with donor procurement requirements and organisational procurement procedures.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
