Program Manager – Donor‑Funded Health & Social Programs

About the role

Connecting Research to Development (CRD) is seeking experienced Program Managers to lead donor‑funded health and social initiatives in Jordan. The role will be activated once project funding is secured, offering a strategic seat at the decision‑making table.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for health or social programs, overseeing full budgetary responsibility.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure delivery of program objectives on time and within scope.
• Navigate institutional relationships at senior level, securing partnerships and stakeholder buy‑in.
• Prepare and present program reports, financial statements, and impact assessments to donors and partners.
• Lead negotiations in both Arabic and English, translating strategic goals into actionable plans.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in donor‑funded health or social programs.
• Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility proactively and operate calmly under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, capable of delivering difficult news early and proposing solutions.
• Established network of relationships within the sector, built over years.
