Quality Control Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer to ensure aluminium fabricated units meet design specifications and quality standards. The role involves inspecting in‑house production, conducting site checks, and coordinating with production and installation teams to resolve any defects before handover.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect fabricated units in-house for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and company quality standards.
• Carry out final checks before materials and units are dispatched to project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, focusing on installation quality, finish, operation, and compliance with approved requirements.
• Identify defects early, document findings, and follow up with production and installation teams until corrective work is completed.
• Perform pre‑handover inspections to ensure works are acceptable to the client and minimize snag lists.

Required profile

• Engineering degree and practical experience in quality control for aluminium works.
• Good knowledge of aluminium windows, doors, façades, and their installation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence to identify and escalate quality concerns.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with production, installation, and project teams.
• Clear reporting and follow‑up skills.
• Strong written and spoken English.
