Quality Inspector II

About the role

The Quality Inspector II will ensure that every can produced meets the company’s strict quality standards. Working on the production floor, you will perform inspections, document findings, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any issues.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out in‑process and final inspections of cans and components using visual, dimensional and functional checks.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications and quality control plans to verify product conformity.
• Record inspection results, report non‑conformances and trigger corrective actions.
• Identify quality problems, work with production and engineering to conduct root‑cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain inspection equipment and gauges.
• Assist in developing and improving inspection procedures and quality control methods.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with ISO quality management systems.
• Train and mentor junior inspectors on inspection techniques.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in can production.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or QA certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges and bore gauges.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
