Freelance Material Scientist (Python) – AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a material scientist with strong Python skills to join our AI training platform on a freelance basis. You will design and validate engineering‑focused problems that help improve AI systems used by leading tech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design original material engineering problems that mimic real‑world workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks that require numerical methods, iterative solutions, and computational intensity.
• Develop problem sets involving system design, optimization, and analysis based on actual research challenges.
• Verify solutions using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Material Science or a related engineering field.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Ability to work part‑time on project‑based tasks (10‑20 hours per week during active phases).

Required skills

• MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (any can be equivalent)
