Quantity Surveyor – Engineering Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will manage costs and contracts for engineering and construction projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining quality and compliance. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery in Amman.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and cost‑control forecasts.
• Monitor project expenditures and track budget performance.
• Value work completed and prepare interim and final payment applications.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders, bids and contract documentation.
• Conduct site measurements, quantity take‑offs and verify completed work.
• Coordinate with engineering, project and procurement teams.
• Support risk and value management activities.
• Maintain accurate cost records, reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in civil engineering and civil engineering design, with ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in land surveying for site measurements and quantity verification.
• Practical experience using CAD tools to review engineering plans.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in cost estimation, contract administration and budget tracking on infrastructure or building projects.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
