Radar ATCALS & C2 Technician

About the role

The position involves installing, sustaining, troubleshooting, and repairing ground radar and airfield systems, including air traffic control radars and related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair standard ground radar and ATCALS equipment using schematics and layout drawings.
• Conduct tests, alignments, and calibrations to ensure maximum system efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain detailed inspection and maintenance records, including meter readings and data collection forms.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Four years of recent, relevant experience with electronic systems and maintenance of COMSEC/IP networking equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance and a US CENTCOM Medical Exam.

Required skills

• Experience with radar and navigation systems such as DME, ILS, TACAN, VOR, STARS, and ATIS.
• Knowledge of equipment like FMQ-19, Micro‑EARTS, Multi Source Correlator Tracker, TDX‑2000, and NEXION.
• COMSEC/IP networking skills with IAT Level II certification.
