Receptionist / Admission Assistant

About the role

The Receptionist / Admission Assistant will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents and prospective students at Amman Academy, a bilingual International Baccalaureate school in Amman. The role combines front‑desk duties with support for the admissions process, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors, answer telephone calls and manage email enquiries.
• Assist the admissions team with application processing, scheduling tours and maintaining prospective student records.
• Maintain the reception area, handle incoming and outgoing mail, and manage office supplies.
• Coordinate with school departments to ensure smooth communication and timely information flow.
• Prepare and distribute routine reports and correspondence using standard IT tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an educational setting.

Required skills

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• High level of organization and effective time‑management.
• Solid IT proficiency for routine office tasks.
