Remote YouTube Video Editor

About the role

We are looking for a creative Remote YouTube Video Editor to shape the visual identity of a brand‑new channel that covers business advice, productivity tips, book summaries, Notion tutorials, and the journey of building the channel while running an existing business.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 1‑2 videos per week (initially 6‑12 minutes, potentially up to 15‑30 minutes).
• Handle the full editing workflow from raw footage to final polished video, including trimming, transitions, audio balancing, and colour correction.
• Adapt the editing style to four distinct content pillars: storytelling for book explanations, motivational for business & productivity, instructional for Notion tutorials, and casual vlog‑style for the journal.
• Create and refine branding elements such as intros and outros.
• Occasionally design video thumbnails using Canva or similar tools.
• Collaborate with the team via Google Drive, Discord, Notion, and Zoom, and incorporate feedback to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) with good English communication skills.
• 2‑3 years of proven video‑editing experience, preferably for YouTube.
• Self‑motivated, creative, and able to work independently while managing the entire editing process.
• Open to iterative feedback and comfortable adjusting timelines as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a professional video‑editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience using Canva or comparable graphic‑design tools for thumbnail creation.
• Familiarity with collaboration platforms: Google Drive, Discord, Notion, and Zoom.

What we offer

• Fully remote work with a flexible schedule.
• Opportunity to influence the creative direction of a growing YouTube channel.
• Potential for salary increases based on performance and channel growth.
• Room for professional development as responsibilities expand.
