Remote YouTube Video Editor

About the role

We are looking for a creative Remote YouTube Video Editor to help launch and grow our new channel, Jouza3tivity, which covers business advice, productivity, book summaries, Notion tutorials, and vlog-style journaling. The role starts with editing 1‑2 videos per week and can expand as the channel gains traction.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 1‑2 videos weekly (6‑12 minutes initially, potentially up to 15‑30 minutes) from raw footage to final polished output, including trimming, transitions, and audio adjustments.
• Maintain distinct visual styles for each content series: storytelling for book explanations, motivational tone for business & productivity, instructional for Notion tutorials, and casual for journal vlogs.
• Create and refine branding elements such as intros and outros, and occasionally design thumbnails using Canva or similar tools.
• Collaborate with the team via Google Drive, Discord, Notion, and Zoom, incorporating feedback and meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic with good English proficiency.
• 2‑3 years of proven video editing experience, preferably for YouTube or similar platforms.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage the full editing workflow independently.
• Open to long‑term growth and taking ownership of creative direction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a video editing software of choice that delivers high‑quality results.
• Experience using Canva (or similar) for thumbnail creation.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Google Drive, Discord, Notion, and Zoom.

What we offer

• Fully remote work with a flexible schedule.
• Opportunity to shape the creative direction of a brand‑new YouTube channel.
• Potential for salary increases based on performance and channel growth.
