Reporting & Scheduling Specialist

About the role

The Reporting & Scheduling Specialist will be based in Damascus, Syria and will be responsible for creating, maintaining and controlling project schedules across OSP, ISP, Data Center and Exchange activities. The role ensures accurate, timely reporting and provides analytical insights to support project visibility and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain detailed project schedules for all phases of OSP, ISP, Data Center and Exchange implementation.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly progress against baseline schedules and identify variances.
• Prepare schedule forecasts, delay analyses, mitigation plans and recovery schedules in coordination with project teams and contractors.
• Consolidate progress data from multiple regions, contractors and departments into centralized reporting structures.
• Produce weekly, monthly and KPI‑aligned progress reports for management and client stakeholders.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, advanced Excel trackers and visual reporting tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across ERP systems, client portals, databases and internal reporting platforms.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, permitting, implementation and contractor teams to guarantee schedule alignment and readiness.
• Validate contractor progress submissions and integrate them into master schedules.
• Support automation and digitalisation of reporting processes and conduct schedule audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project scheduling for telecom, network or data‑center projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track KPIs, perform delay analysis and develop mitigation plans.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, design, permitting and contractors.
• Ability to produce executive‑level presentations and analytical insights for decision‑making.
