About the role

The position is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation for the Department of Defense. The Resident Engineer will lead and supervise all military and host‑nation construction programs within the assigned Resident Office in Jordan.

Key responsibilities

Provide overall management of construction projects for both U.S. military and host‑nation stakeholders.
Supervise the planning, design, and execution of civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural works.
Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, safety standards, and contractual requirements.
Coordinate with host‑nation authorities and contractors to achieve project objectives.

Required profile

Professional engineering degree (civil, mechanical, electrical, or architecture) or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience in managing large‑scale construction programs.
Eligibility for DoD Direct Hire Authority appointment.
