Risk Analyst – Forex/CFD Brokerage

About the role

We are seeking a Risk Analyst to monitor market and client risk in our forex/CFD brokerage. The role focuses on real‑time exposure monitoring, trading risk analysis, and collaboration with the Dealing Desk and other key teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time and end‑of‑day exposure across FX, metals, indices, crypto and other instruments.
• Analyse net exposure, concentration risk, volatility risk and portfolio performance.
• Investigate abusive trading behaviours such as latency arbitrage, toxic flow, bonus abuse and scalping.
• Develop risk flags, client segmentation and scoring to identify high‑risk accounts.
• Define and monitor leverage limits, margin requirements and exposure thresholds.
• Work with the Dealing Desk on hedging strategies and abnormal market conditions.
• Prepare daily exposure reports, dashboards and incident analyses for management.
• Recommend and implement risk mitigation actions, including leverage restrictions and margin adjustments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of risk management experience in a Forex/CFD brokerage, prop trading or liquidity provider environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of market risk, client risk, exposure management, leverage and margin mechanisms.
• Hands‑on experience with MT4/MT5 and trading/risk monitoring tools.
• Ability to analyse large trading data sets and translate findings into clear risk decisions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
