Risk and Compliance Associate (SC6) – Amman, Jordan

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a Risk and Compliance Associate (SC6) to support risk management and compliance activities in its Amman office. The role will contribute to embedding risk management in planning, decision‑making and the overall effectiveness of operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in embedding risk management across the office and regularly update risk registers.
• Track progress on risk mitigation actions and support the collection of feedback and data on risk performance.
• Conduct initial research to identify new approaches for improving risk management.
• Support the application of controls and ensure compliance with WFP policies and procedures.
• Report to the Country Director with functional support from the Risk Management Division.

Required profile

• Ability to support risk management activities and compliance with organisational policies.
• Experience in collecting and analysing risk‑related data.
• Capacity to work under the guidance of senior risk management staff.
