Sales Manager – Automotive (Baghdad)

About the role

Laith Al Obaidi Group is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the automotive division in Baghdad. The role will drive showroom sales, strengthen the brand’s market presence, and achieve aggressive revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives, setting monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to inform planning.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, monitoring KPIs and conversion rates.
• Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management.
• Recruit, train, coach and motivate the sales team, conduct performance reviews and design incentive schemes.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, handling escalated issues.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance and operations, ensure accurate CRM data and present strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in sales planning, forecasting and achieving targets.
• Experience in the automotive or fleet sector is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
