Senior Arabic & English Copywriter

About the role

Brainlake is seeking a senior bilingual copywriter fluent in Arabic and English for a 12‑month remote engagement supporting large digital transformation programmes across the GCC. You will own copy for websites, digital platforms and communications, turning complex strategies into clear, audience‑appropriate content.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit and transcreate Arabic and English copy for websites, portals, mobile apps and digital platforms, including UX microcopy, landing pages and navigation labels.
• Produce digital communications such as email campaigns, newsletters, social media content, push notifications and campaign messaging.
• Ensure Arabic content reads naturally, respects cultural nuances and aligns with English intent.
• Develop tone‑of‑voice guidelines, bilingual style guides and terminology glossaries.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers on user journeys, wireframes and RTL layout considerations.
• Participate in client workshops, present content rationale and incorporate senior stakeholder feedback.
• Own end‑to‑end content quality, proofreading and reviewing both personal and team output.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in Modern Standard Arabic and professional fluency in English.
• 6+ years of copywriting experience focused on digital channels (websites, platforms, apps, campaigns).
• Portfolio demonstrating bilingual digital work, especially UX/microcopy and marketing communications.
• Proven ability to transcreate and localise content between Arabic and English.
• Experience with enterprise, government or semi‑government clients in the GCC.
• Strong understanding of digital content best practices, readability, accessibility, information hierarchy and SEO.
