Senior Events Manager – EU Outreach Project

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Events Manager to support the EU’s communication outreach and engagement project across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role provides strategic, technical and logistical support for day‑to‑day communication activities, enhancing the visibility and impact of EU policies and partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver conferences, seminars, workshops, press events and public outreach activities.
• Manage all logistical aspects of institutional events, including venue coordination, participant registration and supplier liaison.
• Coordinate event schedules, speakers, moderators and technical service providers.
• Support protocol arrangements and facilitate participation of high‑level EU officials, partner institutions and external stakeholders.
• Supervise on‑site event implementation to ensure smooth delivery.
• Prepare and distribute event‑related communication materials and participant information.
• Support post‑event reporting, evaluations and lessons‑learned processes.
• Collaborate closely with communication teams, service providers and DG MENA to ensure successful event outcomes.

Required profile

• University degree (or equivalent professional experience) in event management, communication or hospitality.
• Fluent English; French and/or Arabic considered an asset.
• Minimum five years of general experience in event organisation and logistics.
• At least three years of specific experience managing institutional or communication events.
