Senior Fraud Monitoring Analyst

About the role

The Senior Fraud Monitoring Analyst is responsible for investigating suspicious activities, transactions, and incidents identified through system alerts. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams to mitigate fraud risk and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fraud investigations and determine root causes of fraudulent activities.
• Perform outbound calls to verify fraud alerts according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Line‑of‑Business, and IT to resolve fraud cases.
• Report high‑risk cases and emerging trends to management.
• Assess existing fraud prevention measures and propose new detection strategies.
• Document investigations, maintain accurate case records, and prepare detailed reports on fraud trends and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support a strong teamwork environment within and outside the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Business from a recognized university.
• At least 4 years of banking experience, with a minimum of 2 years in fraud monitoring.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of banking operations, regulations, and financial services.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
