Senior Graphic Designer – Children’s Books

About the role

We are an award‑winning publishing house seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to shape the visual world of children’s and young adult books. Based in our Amman office, you will work closely with editors, illustrators and production teams to bring stories to life through compelling design.

Key responsibilities

• Design book interiors and covers from concept through final production.
• Create visually engaging layouts that enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate with editors, illustrators and production staff to ensure design consistency.
• Prepare print‑ready files and uphold production quality standards.
• Maintain visual consistency across titles and series.
• Contribute to the overall creative direction of the publishing program.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in print media or editorial design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional layout, typography and composition.
• Excellent eye for detail and a refined sense of visual quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Passion for books, illustration and children’s literature, with an appreciation for Arabic culture.
