Senior Marketing Officer

About the role

The Senior Marketing Officer will lead the development and execution of social media strategies to increase program visibility and audience engagement for Jo Academy. This role focuses on creating compelling content, coordinating design assets, and analysing performance to support the organization’s digital marketing objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage social media content calendars to ensure consistent and strategic posting across platforms.
• Write engaging, creative, and platform‑specific captions tailored to each audience.
• Oversee and coordinate the design of social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Monitor content performance and audience engagement using platform analytics, and use insights to improve future content.
• Coordinate with the design team to request, review, and finalize visual assets for campaigns.
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media channels, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support campaign planning and brainstorm content ideas aligned with program goals.
• Track competitor activity and suggest opportunities for differentiation or improvement.
