Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of complex IT and business initiatives. The role drives high‑visibility projects, aligns them with strategic goals and ensures governance, quality and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for large‑scale or multiple concurrent IT projects, from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables and resource plans in line with organisational strategy.
• Manage budgets, schedules and risk registers, applying corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders, vendors and technical teams.
• Enforce project governance, applying Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Mentor junior Project Managers and serve as an escalation point.
• Oversee change management, including scope adjustments, impact analysis and risk assessment.
• Ensure compliance with organisational standards, customer SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct project reviews and lessons‑learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to portfolio and program reporting for strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 5–7 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years leading large or complex IT projects.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster, PMI‑ACP, ITIL 4.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira or Asana.
• Deep knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience delivering IT infrastructure, cloud or digital transformation projects.
