Senior System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our IT team and ensure the stability, performance, and security of our production and business‑critical environments. You will act as a technical expert for complex SAP, HANA, and database issues while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert support for SAP and HANA troubleshooting and ticket resolution.
• Prepare data and technical information for internal and external security audits and implement remediation actions.
• Troubleshoot SQL and HANA databases, optimise performance and manage backups.
• Diagnose and resolve advanced network and infrastructure problems.
• Mentor Officers and Associates in daily operational tasks.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, best practices, and an IT knowledge base.
• Coordinate with vendors for escalated issues.
• Participate in IT process improvement, project planning, and implementation.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors or IT leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in system administration, managing production environments.
• Strong communication skills and high ownership of assigned tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and differentiate between temporary work‑arounds and root‑cause solutions.
• Proactive in identifying risks and infrastructure improvement opportunities.
