Teaching Assistant (TA)

About the role

The Teaching Assistant (TA) will support AI training initiatives by bridging human engineering and machine learning models. Working in an IT and software product environment, the TA helps curate, annotate, and evaluate large datasets to ensure AI components generate accurate and safe responses.

Key responsibilities

• Support the AI Trainer in delivering training sessions and managing learner activities.
• Assist learners with technical questions, exercises, assignments, and projects.
• Explain technical concepts clearly and in a simple, understandable way.
• Monitor learner participation and progress and report challenges to the trainer.
• Review assignments and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• 1+ year experience as a Teaching Assistant, Technical Assistant, Tutor, Mentor, or similar role.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, AI, data science, software engineering, education or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Python and programming fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and Large Language Model concepts.
• Experience with Jupyter or Google Colab, Git, and AI APIs (preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot basic coding and technical issues.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentations, documentation, and online collaboration tools.
