Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer will provide expert assistance for virtualization and storage infrastructure, ensuring client environments run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, install, manage and support virtualization environments.
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and deliver solutions for client issues.
• Reproduce client environments to test fixes and workarounds.
• Act as liaison between clients, pre‑sales, sales and product development teams.
• Escalate unresolved issues following standard procedures.
• Record and track all tickets from opening to resolution.
• Provide root‑cause analysis and recommend remedial actions.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners and clients, including POC/demo presentations.
• Lead customer escalations and attend client meetings on short notice.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience with SAN environments and virtualization technologies.
• BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Fluency in English.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat, VMware, HCI) are a plus.

Required skills

• SAN (IBM, EMC, HP) and storage virtualization.
• Red Hat Virtualization, OpenShift, VMware, Hyper‑V, IBM PowerVM.
• Backup software and enterprise backup/recovery solutions.
• Networking concepts and technologies.
