Tender Costing Manager

About the role

The Tender Costing Manager will work full‑time on‑site in Amman, preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial, industrial and infrastructure construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, specifications and tender documents to develop accurate cost breakdowns for materials, labour, equipment and overheads.
• Collect, evaluate and compare vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and procurement teams to clarify requirements and manage tender deadlines.
• Monitor market price trends, identify cost‑saving opportunities and maintain comprehensive tender records.
• Support post‑tender negotiations and clarifications.

Required profile

• Strong background in construction costing and tender preparation for commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with FIDIC Red Book and Yellow Book contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowledge of local and regional construction market rates, regulations and standards in Jordan and surrounding markets.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
