Trademarks Paralegal

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Trademarks Paralegal to join our IP team in Amman. The role supports patent and trademark attorneys in the full lifecycle of trademark applications and related legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide secretarial support to patent and trademark attorneys.
• Prepare, file and monitor trademark applications in multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct trademark searches, analyze local and foreign trademark files, and assist in litigation support.
• Coordinate with local and foreign lawyers, draft appeals and responses, and manage case diaries and deadlines.
• Maintain filing systems, archive client portfolios, and update clients on status via email, phone or mail.
• Enter trademark details into the in‑house system, generate reports and statistics for clients.
• Communicate with agents, associates and governmental bodies to ensure timely processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, IT or a related field.
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong formal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple client portfolios simultaneously and work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Competent use of internet resources and standard office software for information extraction.
