Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician supports 24/7 flight‑line operations for U.S. Air Force and coalition aircraft in Southwest Asia. Working on an austere installation, the technician ensures safe, efficient aircraft arrival, turn‑around, and departure while complying with all technical orders and safety directives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding, and positioning according to airfield procedures.
• Execute ground‑handling tasks that enable aircraft turn‑around and mission readiness.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections and servicing of vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
• Maintain strict tool control and participate in foreign‑object debris (FOD) prevention inspections.
• Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs, and inspection checklists accurately.
• Communicate hazards, equipment issues, and operational concerns to supervisors promptly.

• Ability to work in a high‑tempo, austere environment with 24/7/365 flight‑line support.
• Commitment to a ZERO‑harm workplace and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Clearance: Secret (or ability to obtain).
