YouTube Video Editor (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

Jouza3tivity is launching a new YouTube channel that covers business advice, productivity, book summaries, Notion tutorials, and the journey of building the channel while running an existing business. We are looking for a creative Video Editor to produce 1‑2 videos per week, with the opportunity to increase output as the channel grows.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 1‑2 videos weekly (initially 6‑12 min, potentially up to 30 min).
• Handle the full editing workflow: trimming, transitions, audio balancing, colour correction, and final polish.
• Adapt editing style to each series (storytelling for books, motivational for business, instructional for Notion, casual vlog for journal).
• Create and refine branding elements such as intros and outros.
• Occasionally design thumbnails using Canva or similar tools.
• Provide creative input on style, tone, and visual identity.
• Collaborate via Google Drive, Discord, Notion, and Zoom, and incorporate feedback promptly.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic (spoken and written) with good English proficiency.
• 2‑3 years of video‑editing experience, preferably for YouTube.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Open to feedback and iterative revisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video‑editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools for thumbnails.
• Familiarity with collaboration platforms: Google Drive, Discord, Notion, Zoom.
