Analyst – Sustainable Infrastructure (Energy & Transport)

About the role

The Analyst will be based in EBRD’s resident office in Amman and will support the Sustainable Infrastructure team covering energy and transport projects across Jordan and the wider region. The role involves the full project cycle from origination to monitoring, with a focus on debt and equity investments in renewable power, water, public transport and waste infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior bankers in structuring and executing project finance transactions, including comprehensive research and market analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis, build and update financial models, and prepare financial projections for new and existing projects.
• Perform due diligence covering financial, market, integrity and policy compliance aspects.
• Support implementation and monitoring of existing energy and infrastructure projects in Jordan.
• Maintain relationships with public authorities, private operators and international organisations.
• Coordinate technical cooperation assignments and due‑diligence visits with stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics, engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex financial and market data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Motivation to work in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.
