Backend Developer Associate

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer Associate to design, develop, and maintain server‑side applications. You will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver secure, high‑performing solutions throughout the full software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle from requirements gathering to release.
• Collect and analyse business and technical requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
• Design, code, develop and release .NET based software solutions.
• Maintain and support active solutions, providing timely debugging and issue resolution.
• Identify and mitigate security threats in existing and upcoming features.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide around‑the‑clock support to ensure system availability.
• Monitor industry trends to propose new programs, products, or features.
• Administer Windows Server and IIS for application hosting; use Jira for task tracking.
• Work efficiently within Agile teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 0‑4 years of experience designing and developing .NET web applications, web services, and databases.
• Ability to work under pressure, flexible hours, and meet project deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving and data‑processing skills.
• Knowledge of continuous integration tools and agile development methods.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• .NET Framework and .NET Core using C#.
• WCF and Web API development.
• Data access with MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Source control (TFS or similar).
• IIS and Windows Server configuration.
• Redundancy and hosting maintenance operations.
• Network setup and architecture design.
• UNIX/Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Task management tools such as Jira.
• Agile methodologies and continuous integration concepts.
