Banquet Waiter

About the role

The Banquet Waiter will help create memorable dining experiences for guests at The Ritz-Carlton Amman. Working as part of the Guest Service team, you will ensure that every aspect of the banquet service runs smoothly, from table setup to final bill.

Key responsibilities

• Set up banquet tables, chairs, linens, and serviceware according to event specifications.
• Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests.
• Interact with guests, answer questions, and address any service issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, replenish supplies, and ensure all service stations are stocked.
• Follow safety and hygiene standards throughout the shift.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance).
