Consultant – Knowledge Management & Coordination for Violence Against Children

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an experienced individual consultant to lead global knowledge management and coordination support for its Violence Against Children (VAC) agenda. The consultant will play a pivotal role in preparing and delivering the Second Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in Manila.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global knowledge management strategy for VAC and child protection.
• Document national‑level impact and synthesize evidence to inform global advocacy.
• Coordinate UNICEF’s contributions and engagements related to the upcoming ministerial conference.
• Support the preparation of briefing materials, reports, and communication products.
• Facilitate collaboration among internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in knowledge management, research synthesis, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of child protection, violence prevention, and international development contexts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage a 15‑month fixed‑term assignment remotely.
