Deputy Country Director for Support Services (Palestine Emergency)

About the role

The Deputy Country Director for Support Services will lead the HR, Logistics and Finance functions of the Palestine Emergency mission based in Amman, Jordan. Reporting to the Country Director, the role provides coaching, guidance and strategic oversight to ensure effective service delivery in a complex humanitarian context.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of the Shared Services strategy in line with the Country Strategy and emergency readiness priorities.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and capacity strengthening to HR, Logistics and Finance managers.
• Develop, improve and implement processes across HR, Logistics and Finance.
• Participate in establishing strategic orientations for the programme.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and donor requirements.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing HR, Logistics and Finance functions in humanitarian or development settings.
• Proven ability to coach and guide senior managers.
• Strong understanding of strategic planning and emergency readiness.
• Commitment to inclusion, diversity and disability integration.
