Director, Marketing & Communications

About the role

The Director, Marketing & Communications leads the hotel’s marketing and public‑relations department, ensuring strict adherence to brand standards. Acting as the primary brand ambassador, you will shape communication strategies and coordinate campaigns with Sales, Spa, Food & Beverage to drive profit growth and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all marketing and PR activities, guaranteeing compliance with brand guidelines.
• Develop and execute integrated communication strategies across hotel departments.
• Produce hotel photography, creative direction for ads, and manage PR pitch calendars.
• Create and distribute at least two media releases per month.
• Design guest and sales collateral, and build brand partnerships for on‑site events.
• Plan and execute 6‑8 media events annually, such as restaurant launches and familiarisation trips.
• Monitor market trends, financial and demographic data to identify opportunities.
• Manage advertising across print, electronic, radio, social, and direct‑mail channels.

Required profile

• Minimum 5‑8 years of marketing/communications experience, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Prior experience within a luxury hotel or Accor‑related environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management software.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure.
