Experienced Associate – Audit & Assurance Payroll Specialist

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team as a Payroll Specialist. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payments while supporting audit and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute payroll policies and procedures, processing monthly payroll for all employees.
• Interface with staff to verify payslips, resolve expense and claim issues, and address salary discrepancies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date payroll records in ERP software and ensure compliance with the UAE Wage Protection System (WPS).
• Supervise data accuracy, reconcile payroll figures, and prepare monthly MIS reports.
• Provide guidance on payroll procedures and ensure HR services meet agreed service levels.
• Prepare final settlements for departing staff and manage employment records.
• Reconcile payroll budget, calculate cost rates, and track headcount changes.
• Maintain records for the UAE Pension scheme and produce audit‑ready payroll reconciliation templates, including ICV requirements.
