Frontend Developer Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer Specialist to independently deliver medium‑complexity features for web and mobile applications using React.js and React Native. You will translate product requirements into scalable solutions, build reusable UI components, and ensure high performance across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement medium‑complexity features in React.js and React Native with limited senior oversight.
• Translate product requirements into technical designs, break work into estimable tasks, and flag risks early.
• Build, optimize, and maintain reusable UI components for a shared component library.
• Integrate and review RESTful API, payment, and micro‑service connections, handling errors and security.
• Apply performance optimizations such as lazy loading, memoization, and bundle awareness.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide pair‑programming guidance.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests and contribute to end‑to‑end testing strategy.
• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, estimation, and own delivery of committed work.
• Investigate, reproduce, and fix production defects, including incident triage.
• Contribute to internal documentation, coding standards, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional frontend development experience with production work in React.js and/or React Native.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end features with limited supervision (portfolio, GitHub, or case studies).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency with React.js (hooks, context, component composition).
• Experience building and shipping React Native apps for iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with a state‑management library (Redux, MobX, or Zustand).
• Comfortable consuming and debugging RESTful APIs.
• Proficient Git workflows (branching, rebasing, conflict resolution).
• Unit and integration testing experience.
