Healthcare Design Manager

About the role

Dar, a member of the Sidara group, is seeking a Senior Design Project Manager – Healthcare to lead the multidisciplinary design of hospitals, medical centers and other healthcare facilities. You will oversee the full design lifecycle, from concept through detailed design and coordination, ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process of large‑scale healthcare projects, including clinical system implementations and facility upgrades.
• Collaborate with clinicians, executives and other stakeholders to define scope, goals, vision and deliverables.
• Develop and control detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress, identify issues and implement corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.
• Oversee preparation of design drawings and specifications and ensure compliance with standards such as FGI, IHFG, HBN and JCI.
• Conduct site visits for reconnaissance and mentor junior staff.
• Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (master’s preferred); licensed architect preferred.
• 20+ years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proven experience leading healthcare design projects of varying size and complexity.
• Strong independent and collaborative work style with excellent written and verbal English communication.
