QA Engineer – Remote

About the role

Upmesh is seeking a detail‑oriented QA Engineer to join its fully remote team. You will work closely with developers and project managers to ensure the software delivered to German construction clients meets high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to uncover software defects.
• Log and track bugs using Jira, ensuring clear documentation and timely resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to discuss issues and verify fixes.
• Interpret software requirements and technical documentation written in German.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong attention to detail and solid communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand German technical tickets and documentation.
• Fluent German speaking is a plus.
