Senior SOC L2 Analyst – Security Operations Center

About the role

The Senior SOC L2 Analyst is responsible for managing, configuring, and monitoring security systems within a Security Operations Center. You will work in a 24/7 shift environment, handling incident response investigations, daily security operations, and occasional penetration‑testing support.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts generated by the SIEM and other tools.
• Conduct in‑depth incident analysis, including root‑cause identification, impact assessment, and containment.
• Tune and optimize SIEM searches, reports, dashboards, and detection logic.
• Collaborate with SOC team members to manage and respond to incidents.
• Perform threat hunting, leverage threat‑intelligence feeds, and develop new use cases.
• Document incident reports, intelligence briefings, and tuning recommendations.
• Administer firewall and WAF solutions, ensuring alignment with security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a security operations or related environment.
• One or more relevant certifications (e.g., Certified SOC Analyst, CEH, eCIR, eCTHP).
